Heritage is a key part of Fyfe's future. Our Heritage team is growing alongside our infrastructure portfolio and were looking for a Senior Heritage Consultant who wants to be part of that journey, someone who enjoys building, refining, and shaping how heritage services are delivered as the business evolves.
This Sydney based role offers the chance to contribute to a range of active heritage projects across a diverse sector, including large scale renewable energy, the advertised role will primarily support large-scale infrastructure projects across NSW and the Sydney Basin. You'll play a client facing and visible role in strengthening our heritage offering, influencing project delivery approaches, with the opportunity to grow into a leadership role, you will be supporting the development of both people and processes as the team grows.
What you'll be doing
* Playing a key role in the delivery and growth of Fyfe's heritage services
* Leading high-quality project delivery across a growing portfolio
* Taking accountability for project quality in collaboration with the Quality Manager
* Leading project planning sessions and helping shape delivery frameworks
* Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and efficiencies
* Managing project budgets, timelines, and resourcing as the portfolio expands
* Supporting and mentoring team members as the Heritage team grows
* Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
About you
You're a senior heritage professional who enjoys being part of a team in growth mode. You're comfortable working at both strategic and delivery levels and are motivated by the opportunity to help shape how a team operates and evolves.
* A degree in archaeology or a related discipline
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Experience in client relationship management
* A collaborative mindset and experience working in multidisciplinary teams
* Leadership capability, with an interest in mentoring and coaching others
* A passion for delivering quality innovative solutions
