At Tru, you'll take charge of your pipeline, shape meaningful client relationships, and play a key role in redefining the freight industry, while being supported by a dynamic and collaborative team.
What does it look like?
* Identify and develop new business opportunities in the market
* Strategically prospect, qualify and convert leads, owning the pipeline and creating long‑term clients
* Design and deliver tailored freight solutions that address each client's unique requirements
* Manage the end‑to‑end sales cycle, from first contact through to successful onboarding
* Drive negotiations on high‑value opportunities, consistently focused on sales goals
* Drive collaboration across teams, aligning with internal stakeholders to deliver outstanding client outcomes
* Keep accurate and up‑to‑date records in the Transport & Customer Management platforms
What can you bring?
* 5+ years' experience in new sales business development (freight/logistics industry preferred, not essential)
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Strong knowledge of domestic transport, warehousing, or international logistics
* A self‑starter with resilience, tenacity, and a client‑first mindset
* Confident communicator and negotiator at all levels
* Tech savvy, experience with Customer or Transport systems (highly regarded)
* Qualifications in Sales, or Transport & Logistics (desirable)
