About The Role We are seeking an experienced Brand Manager to join our Brand Marketing, East (Australia, New Zealand, Asia) team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, covering parental leave. This role will lead the end‑to‑end stewardship and growth of a defined brand portfolio of our beloved brands, translating consumer, category and commercial insight into clear brand strategy, activation and performance outcomes. Reporting into the Marketing Manager you’ll work cross‑functionally with Innovation, Commercial, Finance, Category & Insights, and agency partners to deliver integrated brand plans that build equity, drive market share and deliver sustainable profit in a dynamic FMCG environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver the annual brand plan aligned to a clear 1–3 year portfolio strategy, informed by consumer, category and commercial insight Own and safeguard brand positioning, identity and guidelines, ensuring consistent execution across markets and touchpoints Lead integrated marketing activity across paid, owned, earned and retail channels, ensuring channel‑fit creative and strong in‑market execution Partner with Innovation, Winemaking/Product, Finance and Supply to shape portfolio direction and deliver innovation and renovation initiatives, including go‑to‑market plans Lead creative, media, PR and design agency partners to deliver high‑quality work on time and within budget Own and manage A&P budgets, prioritising investment against expected return and tracking spend and performance Monitor brand performance and brand health, synthesising data into clear insights, risks and opportunities to inform future plans Work closely with Commercial, Category & Insights, Shopper/Customer Marketing and Content & Creative teams to ensure aligned and effective execution Ensure all brand activity complies with alcohol marketing codes, governance requirements and internal approval processes What You'll Bring Essential 5–8 years’ experience in brand management or consumer marketing within FMCG, ideally within beverage or a regulated category Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end brand plans, from insight and strategy through to creative development and activation Strong commercial and analytical capability, including experience managing A&P budgets and contributing to P&L performance Demonstrated ability to translate consumer and market insight into clear brand strategies, compelling briefs and effective execution Experience working cross‑functionally in complex, matrixed environments, influencing senior stakeholders and partners Excellence in agency leadership, briefing, and delivery management Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present clearly and confidently Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) Desirable Experience in wine, alcohol or broader beverage categories Exposure to portfolio strategy, innovation pipelines and NPD go‑to‑market delivery Strong understanding of digital, content and social fundamentals Experience navigating governance and compliance requirements in a regulated marketing environment Why Join Us?
