About The Role
Ventia is currently recruiting for Indigenous
Guest Services Agents
to support on-base accommodation services for Defence personnel. This role involves managing bookings, check-ins/outs, maintaining records, coordinating inspections, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
* Lead the charge in room booking and allocation for personnel posted or transiting through the base
* Track and manage keys like a vault master (arrival, departure, and safe storage)
* Coordinate cleaning, maintenance and respond to service requests
* Keep records sharp: occupancy stats, rank-room reports, logbooks, inventory and condition checks
* Liaise with leadership to align accommodation with rank and availability
* Perform quality room inspections to ensure everything is functional and welcoming
* Welcome deliveries, manage IT programs related to bookings, and assist visitors and trades
About You
* 1+ years' experience in hospitality or accommodation.
* Proficiency in MS Office
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* These roles are based in Howard Springs, so transport to and from work is essential
* You take pride in delivering high-quality work safely and reliably. You follow established procedures, actively look out for your teammates, and understand that safety is a shared responsibility.
* Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police check.
