Are you a skilled Civil Operator ready to take on exciting site work across Mackay and beyond? At Haynes we're looking for a reliable, safety-focused team player to join our growing crew
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate civil construction machinery such as excavators, loaders & rollers in accordance with site requirements and training.
* Perform daily pre‑start checks, routine maintenance, and cleaning of plant and equipment.
* Read and interpret site plans, levels, and job specifications.
* Work collaboratively with site teams to achieve daily production and safety targets.
* Assist with site setup, trenching, backfilling, compaction, and material movement.
* Ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety (WHS) and environmental management procedures.
* Report any hazards, incidents, or maintenance issues promptly.
* Maintain clear and respectful communication with supervisors, clients, and other contractors.
To be successful, you will have:
* Valid White Card (Construction Induction) – essential.
* Plant Operator Tickets (e.g., Excavator, Roller, Moxy, Loader, or Grader) – essential.
* HR Drivers Licence - Cleaning Driving History
* Ability to pass Pre‑Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Test
