Videographer / Editor
Location: Newcastle & Surrounds
Contract (3 months) with strong potential for ongoing part/full-time
Start early 2026
About Us
Ward Visuals and Mirata Digital work across real estate, property development, and home improvement/trade-based businesses throughout Newcastle and the Hunter.
Ward Visuals focuses on premium real estate and property content.
Mirata Digital tells brand stories for local businesses and builders.
We're a small team that values good communication, quality work, and a genuine love for the craft. We keep things fun, straightforward, and pride ourselves on building long-term relationships with our clients and crew.
About the Role
We're looking for a Videographer / Editor with experience in construction or property/ real estate content. If you've filmed walkthroughs, builds, renos or project showcases, you'll step straight into the workflow.
The role will begin as a fixed 3-month contract to ensure it's the right fit both ways, with strong potential to move into a part-time or full-time position.
This is a hands-on, varied role — a mix of on-site filming, editing, and working directly with clients and our team across both businesses.

* Creating brand and social content for Mirata Digital clients
* Editing full projects with a focus on pacing, colour and storytelling
* Managing your workflow across multiple projects at once

* Collaborating with our team to plan, refine and execute creative ideas
What We're Looking For
* Experience in videography and post-production (property experience preferred)
* Confident in the Adobe Suite (After Effects is a bonus)
* Reliable, organised, and professional with clients
* Based in or around Newcastle with a current driver licence and transport
Who You Are
* You care about producing quality work and take pride in improving
* You're proactive, creative, and like bringing ideas to the table
* You can manage multiple projects without dropping quality
* You enjoy a mix of independence and collaboration
* You want to grow with a small, passionate team that's building momentum

To hit the ground running, you should already have:
* A mirrorless or cinema camera setup (Canon, Sony or equivalent)

* Creative ownership across projects, direction and client relationships
* Exposure to premium brands and industries across property and trades
* Access to resources like office space, production support and systems
* Commission and performance bonuses for hitting KPIs and personal goals
* A chance to build long-term stability while keeping the creative freedom that makes this work rewarding
