**About the Role**
We are looking for professional, operational, motivated Leading Hands for our New Machine Assembly team. This position will be responsible for the efficiencies of the team whilst delivering; safe compliant diagnostic advice, general maintenance direction, overseeing new machine builds and much more as we support our internal and external customer base.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Allocate work to efficiently complete machine builds, maintenance, and service work
- Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical diagnosis and repairs
- Provide advice and guidance to technicians and customers as required
- Quality control for all assembly work completed on the build pad
- Completion of paperwork for machine assemblies
- Coach and develop Apprentices and Technicians
- Expand and maintain customer relationships
- Demonstrate safety leadership
**About you**:
- Trade qualifications as a Diesel / Plant Mechanic
- Experience with building and running productive teams
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A current driver's license
- Commitment to maintain, and adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace
