Experience it here.Your responsibilities will include :As the Software Configuration Analyst Associate, you will develop and control the software build and release management process, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and secure deployments.In this role, you will :Maintain standards and practices for Branch Management, Product Versioning, Source Control Management, and Release Management.Assist with the development and implementation of release strategies that align with best practices.Create software builds and associated documentation.Leverage CI/CD tools to automate creation, testing, and deployment of software releases.Utilise tools such as JIRA and GitLab to manage software files and track software changes through the Software Release process.Maintain accurate documentation for environment configurations, processes, and procedures.Maintain inventory and control of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) and licensing, and entry into the COTS/FOSS library.Work with developers to identify, debug, and resolve software configuration management issues.About you :To be successful in this role, you will have :Qualification in a related discipline from a recognised institution, or equivalent experience.Knowledge of and exposure to Version Control and Repository Management tools such as GitLab and Nexus.Knowledge of and exposure to CI/CD tools such as GitLab.Understanding of the build and release management process within a development environment.Understanding of Agile Software Development.Good communication skills, including writing to, speaking with, and listening to the customer.Eligibility to obtain Australian Defence NV1 Security Clearance.Ability to access and handle Export Controlled technology, data, and information.This is an entry-level role, and comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate.Special Requirements :Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
