Knox Private Hospital is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to join our team. You will play a key role within a supportive team to ensure our patients have a great experience during their care.
Responsibilities
* The position is responsible for providing clinical leadership to compliment the strategic direction, operational processes and quality management of all patients.
* You will provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based.
* As the Nurse Unit Manager you will be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources.

We have a 24/7 Emergency Department, covering a full range of medical and surgical specialty areas, including highly complex surgeries. Qualifications
* Current Registration with AHPRA
* Working with Children check
* Previous experience at ANUM or NUM level, or equivalent
* Compliance with ACSQHCNational standards
* A strong commitment to developing in a management role
* Computer literacy including MS office and various data bases
* Ability to work cohesively within a team environment
* Proven time management and prioritisation skills
* Demonstrate a sound knowledge base in labour management
* Demonstrated HR management experience

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement ".
