For this role, you will need:
* Current Federal Police Check
* Hands‐on experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC), and SOE management
Are you an experienced SOE Engineer with a passion for designing secure, modern end‐user computing environments? We are working with a Federal Government client and are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional for a key 12‐month project.
Responsibilities:
* Lead migration from Ivanti Application Control to WDAC, including policy design, testing, and deployment
* Manage Windows 11 endpoints using Microsoft Intune (compliance, configuration profiles, Autopilot provisioning)
* Package and deploy applications using Intune (Win32/MSIX)
* Implement and monitor Windows Update for Business for patch and feature compliance
* Manage and configure Microsoft Teams‐certified devices via Intune
* Maintain SOE standards and security baselines (BitLocker, ASR, Defender, WDAC)
* Automate processes using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph
* Provide Level 1 desktop support and assist with user onboarding
* Manage smartphones using Intune MAM/MDM policies
* Contribute to BYOD smartphone policy development
Skills and Experience Required:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
* Hands‐on expertise in Microsoft Intune and endpoint management
* Experience with WDAC policy design and deployment
* Strong background in application packaging (Win32/MSIX) and automated deployment
* Knowledge of Windows Update for Business and patch management
* PowerShell scripting for automation and policy management
* Experience managing Teams‐certified devices and mobile devices via Intune
* Excellent communication and customer focus
* Experience in Autopilot provisioning and modern SOE design is desirable
* Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, ServiceNow, or Mac SOE is a plus
* Relevant Microsoft certifications (MD‐102, MS‐102, AZ‐104, SC‐200) are highly regarded
