Seeking an experienced Truck Driver / Loader Operator for a casual role with potential to transition into full-time position.
About the Job
This role requires providing exceptional customer service, ensuring safe loading and unloading of products, and assisting with yard duties and sales as needed across multiple Garden & Landscape sites.
Responsibilities:
* Loading, unloading and delivery of product; ensuring all vehicles are loaded safely and efficiently with the correct product at the correct weights and cubic metres.
* Maintaining presentation and cleanliness of the truck and loader, and notifying the Supervisor / Site Manager of discrepancies with product being loaded / delivered.
* Sales assistance as required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in safe delivery driving, loading and unloading, and be able to provide positive and confident customer interaction. Safety conscious and strong work ethic is essential.
Heavy Rigid Truck license and experience is mandatory, while Sales Loader experience and loader ticket is desirable.
