Job Title: Support and Care Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide high-quality support and care services to individuals with disabilities.
This role involves delivering tailored care plans, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of clients.
Responsibilities:
* Wound care and skin checks
* Bowel therapy, including enema insertion and digital stimulation when required
* Personal care, including showering, dressing, hygiene, and other essential tasks
* Domestic assistance, supporting clients with daily living activities
* Prompting medications according to prescribed schedules
* Transportation and accompanying clients for community access and health-related appointments
* Capacity building and companionship, promoting independence and social interaction
Requirements:
* Australian driver's license
* Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care
* Current national police clearance within 12 months
* Current Blue Card
* Current Yellow Card
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module
* NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
* Reliable, proactive, and positive attitude
* Ability to administer medications
