Salt Cafe is situated on the Esplanade at Urangan, the 'relaxed ' end of Hervey Bay.
Salt Cafe is well-known for its incredible ocean views, with the iconic Urangan Pier being the perfect backdrop for guests to relax and unwind on the spacious outside veranda.

The Role

Duties and Requirements
* Food preparation
* Significant cafe cooking experience, with a creative flair
* Grill, Pan and Fryer experience necessary
* Maintain standards for food storage, stock rotation, and quality
* Minimising wastage
* Maintaining clean and tidy work area
* Follow safe work proceduresBe a strong team member, willing to adapt to change and follow direction
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Responsible for managing the kitchen and ordering on Head Chef's RDO's
* Excellent personal hygiene & HACCP knowledge
* Manage staff
* Oversee kitchen operations
* Pleasant vibrant personality
* Take pride in their work
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
Hours of Work
Weekly roster - full time position. Cafe opens from 6am to 3pm - salary position, plus superannuation.
Must be available days, weekends, and public holidays.
