An exciting opportunity exists to join the newly formed Talent Acquisition function in the role of Talent Acquisition Specialist**.**
This is a foundational role with enormous scope to have an impact on maturing the talent acquisition activities at Austin Health. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be the key reference point for informing the organisations approach to building contemporary internal talent acquisition capability.
Key areas of responsibility include;
- Building successful partnerships with hiring managers, providing expert advice on a range of talent solutions
- Deploying a proactive approach to developing talent pools and pipelines
- Delivering end-to-end recruitment for a range of senior functional roles
- Developing innovative recruitment strategies and campaigns that support the workforce priorities
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment and selection activities across a variety of roles, adopting advanced/proactive and passive sourcing strategies
- Strong knowledge of the employment market
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong stakeholder management experience, providing expert level advice and coaching to hiring managers
- Sound appreciation for and ability to conduct activities in line with diversity and inclusion principles
- Demonstrated organisational skills and capacity to work under limited supervision and to prioritise and plan workflow to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated continuous improvement focus
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Intermediate experience across the MS Office Suite
