Department of Primary Industries and RegionsJob reference: 674435Location: 5000 - ADELAIDEJob status: Short Term ContractEligibility: Open to EveryoneThe OpportunityWe have an opportunity for a Digital Services Officer to be partof our Industry, Strategy and Partnerships Division within theDepartment of Primary Industries and Regions.The Digital Services Officer assists with the delivery ofdigital communication via PIRSA managed channels includingwebsites, intranet, digital applications, social media and emailmarketing. The position is responsible for digital contentdevelopment, editing and publishing as well as leveraging digitaltools and technologies, such as Photoshop and online videoplatforms, to improve user experience and enhance communicationactivities.The position reports to the Senior Digital Services Partner andworks closely with the broader Communications Branch, to ensurecontent for digital platforms is optimised, meets audience needs,and is managed efficiently and effectively. The Digital ServicesOfficer is expected to have sound problem-solving skills and anability to apply expertise under guidance to achieve the outcomesof the team and meet the objectives of the agency.This position requires sound time management skills and theability to prioritise multiple deadlines while being responsive torequests and meeting agreed timeframes for web publishing anddigital services, where appropriate. Knowledge and skills indigital communications including web publishing, writing fordigital, and content design, as well as an understanding of webtechnologies and content management systems are also important tosucceed in the role.About UsSouth Australia is internationally recognised for the quality ofits agriculture, food, and wine.
