Family Mediators Australia is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal/Secretary to provide remote support to our growing team. This is a flexible casual and contract role for someone who values autonomy, professionalism, and meaningful work. 
About the Role 
Days: Currently seeking coverage for two weekdays per week, with some weekend work required (primarily monitoring calls and emails) 
Type: Contractor role (must hold an ABN) 
Location: Fully remote - work from home, anywhere in Australia 
Key Responsibilities 
Managing client calls with empathy and professionalism 
Preparing and proofreading letters, forms, and other documentation 
Providing administrative support for the intake and mediation process 
Maintaining accurate client records and file management 
About You 
Previous experience as a family law paralegal or legal secretary is essential 
Confident and professional phone manner 
Solid attention to detail in written communication and document preparation 
Organised, reliable, and able to work independently 
Comfortable using technology and learning new systems 
Holds an ABN and is set up for remote work
