Role Description
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Switchboard Fitter to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a background in busbar bending, PLC wiring, and switchboard construction.
The Electrical Switchboard Fitter will be involved in the assembly, installation, and wiring of electrical switchboards and control panels. Reporting directly to the workshop manager, the role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, performing quality assurance checks, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Daily tasks include working closely with other team members and project managers to execute projects efficiently and safely.
Qualifications
* Experience in electrical switchboard assembly, installation, and wiring
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
* Knowledge of safety standards and practices in the electrical industry
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Relevant trade qualification or certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field
* Current Electrical Worker's License is preferred
* Experience in the water sector is a plus
