We're looking for a skilled Project Officer to join our Innovation and Sector Development team in the Renewable Energy Activation and Development Branch. Main Responsibilities

* Support the delivery of initiatives that grow Victoria's energy startup ecosystem, such as the CivVic Labs EnergyTech Challenge.
">
* Contribute to digital and data-led innovation projects, helping identify new economic and technological opportunities in the energy sector.
">
* Drive cross-sector partnerships and help deliver key investment and innovation initiatives like the Renewable Energy Technology Investment Prospectus.
">
* Contribute to the planning and delivery of projects that support Victoria's energy technology startup ecosystem including the CivVic Labs EnergyTech Challenge run with LaunchVic
">
* Conduct aspects of more complex projects under direction relating to the economic opportunities of data and digitalisation in the energy sector.

Requirements

* An appropriate tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in energy, environment or a research background.

* An understanding of government processes and current energy policy landscape.
">
* Strong project management and collaboration skills, with an ability to manage competing priorities.

* Confident stakeholder engagement and communication across government, industry, and research sectors.

* A proactive, collaborative mindset to help drive Victoria's energy transformation.
