About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Support Technician to build your experience in our Newman Operations.
You will carry out servicing, repairs, and general maintenance support to modern fleets of autonomous trucks, graders, and dozers.
* Servicing includes routine fuel and lubrication top-ups on Surface Mobile Equipment (SME), lubrication on fixed plant equipment, and machines in our maintenance workshops.
* You will operate Light Vehicle (LV) class and SME class service truck vehicles.
Key responsibilities:
* Oil change out and sampling
* Lubricant and hydraulic tank checks and filling
* Filter change out and lubrication system maintenance
* Breather maintenance and replacement
* Lubrication system top-up and maintenance, oil analysis
* Accurate completion of technical documentation and reports
* Computerized maintenance systems usage, including time confirmations, notifications, and work order closing
* Hazard identification, reporting, and rectification
* Quality task-based risk assessments
* Continuous improvement opportunities identification
To be considered:
* Technically minded, hands-on role desired
* Mining or heavy industrial/manufacturing experience highly regarded
* Lubrication inspections, oil changes, and sampling experience advantageous
* Basic Lubrication Course desirable, CAT SOS experience preferred
* Forklift Licence/EWP an advantage but can be provided
* HR license desirable
* Basic Microsoft office suite required

Location
The role will be based at our Western Australia Iron Ore sites in the Pilbara region, on an 8/6 : 7/7 rotating days and night shift FIFO from Perth.
