Legislation and Government Relations Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver legislative programs for revenue management agencies.
* Provide high-level authoritative advice to stakeholders on government, parliamentary and legislative processes.
* Coordinate and prepare ministerial briefs and cabinet submissions to treasury and cabinet officials.
* Participate in significant corporate projects affecting the agency's operations.
Requirements:
* Ability to lead, manage, and mentor team members with expertise in legislative reform.
* Develop policy proposals and primary legislation in taxation and regulatory environments, utilizing conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Expertise in interpreting and applying legislation in complex legal, commercial, and political environments.
* High-level communication skills to consult with stakeholders, negotiate outcomes, and prepare official documents.
* Contribute to corporate objectives through participation in governance forums.
