Key Responsibilities
* Business Development: Drive new business growth within the Banking, Insurance, and Superannuation sectors by identifying and creating new opportunities with potential clients across Australia.
* Shaping New Opportunities: Lead the creation and shaping of new sales opportunities, engaging senior stakeholders and working across teams to design tailored technology solutions for complex business challenges.
* Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for acquiring new accounts, aligning HCLTech's offerings with the unique needs of banking, insurance, and superannuation organizations.
* Lead Sales Pursuits: Manage end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting and lead generation to deal closure. Negotiate and structure solutions that align with the strategic needs of financial services clients.
* Client Relationship Building: Establish and grow long-term relationships with C-suite executives and decision-makers in target accounts. Position HCLTech as a trusted advisor and partner.
* Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with HCLTech's internal teams including delivery, presales, solution architects, and consulting to ensure that the proposed solutions meet the business needs and objectives of financial services clients.
* Market Insight: Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving client needs to refine sales strategies and identify emerging opportunities in the banking, insurance, and superannuation sectors.
* Brand Ambassadorship: Represent HCLTech at industry events, conferences, and forums to increase brand visibility and thought leadership within the financial services sector.
Required Experience & Skills
* Proven Sales Leadership: Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within the Financial Services sector, with a particular focus on Banking, Insurance, and Superannuation.
* New Business Acquisition: Demonstrated success in opening new accounts and driving business growth within large, complex organizations in the financial services industry.
* Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Australian banking, insurance, and superannuation sectors, including an understanding of key industry challenges, regulations, and digital transformation needs.
* Strong Network: Established relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers in the financial services industry, including C-suite executives.
* Solution-Oriented Selling: Expertise in selling technology solutions such as IT outsourcing, digital transformation, cloud, cybersecurity, and data analytics to financial services clients.
* Consultative Approach: Ability to work in a consultative capacity, identifying customer pain points and crafting tailored solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
* Sales Excellence: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs, with experience managing complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder negotiations.
* Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
* Commercial Acumen: Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to design, negotiate, and close high-value deals.
