Our Fleet Management division is looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our close-knit team in Dandenong South. In this role, you'll play a key part in servicing and maintaining all on-site customer vehicles, ensuring they meet our high standards of performance and reliability.
This role is for an afternoon shift and includes applicable shift loadings.
Main Responsibilities
* Complete all service and maintenance requirements on our customers prime mover fleet and trailing fleet vehicles
* Ability to work autonomously and provide exceptional customer service
* Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner with management, customers and drivers
* Document all repairs including parts usage
* Par-take in the on-call roster with regular overtime
* Strong Work and Health Safety commitment

Demonstrated Skills & Experience
* Minimum Cert 3 Mechanical trade certificate/qualification with experience in Heavy Vehicle industry
* Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
* Good diagnostic ability with welding and fabrication experience beneficial
* Current HC drivers licence desirable
* Attention to detail and customer focus
* Own tools
