We are seeking an experienced Strategic Development Manager to join our Land Lease Communities (LLC) Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on Stockland's market leading Land Lease Communities projects, typically comprising of freestanding homes, clubhouses and recreational facilities. We have a diverse portfolio including regional areas, and we're looking for someone who can help us drive strategic growth in Victoria.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the General Manager, Stockland Halcyon Victoria, in achieving approval of major pipeline projects and reviewing new business opportunities. They will also play a key leadership role in fostering a project culture of design thinking, customer focus and cross-divisional collaboration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all aspects of front-end project delivery approvals, including design development, financial performance reporting, budgeting, programming and risk assessment
- Taking a leadership role to ensure a project culture that leverages Stockland's mixed use capabilities
- Collaborating across states to gain an understanding of how planning systems vary and assisting in discussions with governing bodies
- Obtaining required current and future approvals and monitoring market and competitor activity
About You
You are a strategic thinker with reputable experience in front-end development, ideally having worked from both the government and developer side. You will have exceptional skills in masterplanning and taking projects from visioning through to construction commencement.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Planning experience across a diverse portfolio
- Project, cost and risk management expertise
- Proven experience managing multiple projects or a portfolio of projects
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
- Demonstrated commercial acumen
- Proven track record of achieving results through influencing and relationship skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification in a relevant field
