**About the Role**:
Join us as the EL1 Level Assistant Director Practice Leadership (Labour Hire) and take on a pivotal role in driving a culture of evidence-based practice and continuous improvement. This challenging yet rewarding position involves coordinating a new function focused on enhancing workforce capability and fostering evidence-informed practice approaches for superior customer service within the Agency. You will be responsible for leading the development of a practice leadership approach that promotes consistency and empowers the workforce to deliver high-quality services.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Use expertise in knowledge translation, implementation science, and behavioural insights (individual and organisational behaviour change) to support Agency projects related to workforce development and education in practice.
- Design and lead the development of a practice leadership approach that can be used by the Agency to create a more consistence, evidence-informed workforce. This will include tools, resources and networks which can be used to support front line capability uplift.
- Support the implementation of evidence-based approaches into policy and practice.
- Build and maintain relationships across the Agency.
- Maintain project records using research software or platforms.
- Prepare and present internal reports including slide-pack summaries for stakeholders and communicating recommendations to stakeholders based upon the findings.
- Take on management responsibilities as and when required
- Promote the role of the Research and Evaluation Branch

**About You**:
- Qualifications in disability, allied health, public health, or a related discipline (PhD or postgraduate qualifications preferred).
- Profound expertise in behavioural insights, workforce development, and knowledge translation.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing effective practice leadership approaches that support a consistent, evidence-informed workforce.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across various departments within the organisation.
- Proven capabilities in project management, strategic decision-making, and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.
