As the successful applicant you should be an exemplary classroom practitioner who can lead the implementation of excellence in teaching and learning.
You should possess an excellent understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements for Years 7 to 12.As an expert practitioner, you should have a commitment to excellence in teaching and engage in ongoing self-reflection.
The ability to authentically evaluate the effectiveness of teaching practice and team performance is an important aspect of the role.
Another key attribute is the ability to create environments conducive to learning and provide educational opportunities that are purposeful and relevant, catering for different student learning needs.The successful applicant will ideally have high standards of professionalism and embrace opportunities for collaboration and partnerships within and beyond the college community.
