Job Overview
The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Injury Lead to join our team due to an internal career move.
This role supports the implementation of an integrated injury management strategy at a site level & helps the site teams achieve a step change in their Injury Management and Workers Compensation performance.
You will focus on early return to work and appropriate support for team members with injuries.
This role provides development opportunities to collaborate across a National team and the broader Group.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing and maintaining a business culture which supports the proactive management of work related injuries
* Implementing workers' compensation policies and procedures in accordance with the relevant legislation
* Managing the site's early intervention program and workers compensation claims
* Develop and coordinate return to work plans, rehabilitation plans and liaise with treatment providers to promote recovery
* Prepare quarterly analysis on claims, reporting on themes and trends in the portfolio Maintain a strong and professional relationship with key stakeholders working with them as the main point of contact
