About the role
CRH Industrial pty ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Fitter/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our field service team based in Jimboomba, Queensland. This full-time role will see you working on the maintenance and repair of a variety of heavy vehicles and equipment.
What you'll be doing
* Performing routine servicing, maintenance and repair work on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems and other heavy vehicle components
* Troubleshooting and diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
* Rebuilding and overhauling major components as required
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work carried out
* Working closely with the operations team to minimise equipment downtime
* Adhering to all relevant safety procedures and regulations
What we're looking for
* A trade qualification in Diesel Fitting or Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
* Proven experience as a Diesel Fitter/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
* Strong technical skills and knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems and heavy vehicle components
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality work
* Current driver's licence

CRH Industrial pty ltd is a small local business. Majority of work is field service around Logan, Gold Coast and Scenic Rim with some work performed at our home based workshop in Jimboomba. Work vehicle will be supplied.
