The Tech: You'll work with high-powered laser systems, robotic arms, optical spectrometers, custom hardware, and more. We develop our code in Rust, so you're working with a modern, fast and memory safe language.

About you:
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering (Embedded Systems), or related field.
Excited to join our innovative friendly team with a genuine interest in building the next generation of surgical devices.
Desire to tackle complex, open problems and a commitment to continual learning.
Willingness to contribute across teams whether it is lasers, medical, robotics or other areas as needed.
Have a willingness to work in a laboratory with biological tissue, and able to have any required vaccinations (required for access to PC2 laboratory facilities).
Ideally 2+ years experience solving complex challenges in innovative projects.
Able to work and communicate in a small highly productive multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of robotics, control systems, electronics, simulation and automation, CAD design, rapid prototyping (3D printing) and fabrication.
Able to write high quality documentation with an attention to detail.
Prior medical knowledge isn't a requirement, but exposure to medical device development or safety critical environments will be highly regarded.
