The Public Transport Authority's Project Delivery Division (PPD) is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Project Delivery Inspector. In this role, you will play a critical part in our mission by conducting thorough inspections, internal audits, and surveillance of contractors' works both on and off-site. Your responsibilities will include verifying compliance with contract conditions, specifications, public safety, occupational health standards, rail safety regulations, and environmental requirements. To excel in this role, you should possess: A relevant technical qualification or extensive hands-on experience directly applicable to the role. Proven track record in supervising and executing civil and maintenance works encompassing earthworks, pit and pipe works, drainage systems, underground utilities, under bores installation, fencing, stone pitching, rock protection, deep excavation, embankment stabilization, landscaping, concrete footings, formwork and retaining walls. Proven expertise in supervising and managing structural works including antenna support structure (monopoles) construction, retaining walls, piling, deep and shallow footings, associated road works. Proven experience in work site management including occupational safety and health; and knowledge of construction and maintenance works in or around high-risk operational environment such as an operating electrified Railway Network. Strong comprehension and experience in managing contractor relationships and contractual obligations to ensure project compliance and success. Relevant experience in closing out non-conformances, defects, punch listing and acting as an appointed witness for Inspection Activities during construction. Well-developed relationship management abilities, including the capacity to foster and maintain productive relationships with contractors and consultants.
