Responsibilities
Provide and undertake a diverse range of confidential administrative activities to support Security and Support Services. Develop, organise and manage office systems and structures concerning Security and Support Services.
Ensure a safe and secure setting is maintained for staff and consumers at Mackay Base Hospital by providing incident response, proactive security functions and enforcement of MHHS policies and directives.
Work with and provide support and advice to the Manager of Security Services.

MHHS Security Services comprises a Healthcare Security Officer Service, Occupational Violence Prevention Service, Care Support Officer Service, Access Administration Service and Fire Safety Advisor Service. These facets support each other, aim for sustainable service delivery, and work to protect MHHS people and assets while providing a safe environment for healthcare delivery.
