About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at the Yarrabilba Hotel in Logan Village, Queensland. As Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our hotel, overseeing daily activities and providing exceptional customer service.
What you'll be doing
* Coordinate and supervise all hotel operations, including Gaming, Retail, food and beverage services, to ensure a seamless customer experience
* Manage and motivate a team of hospitality professionals, providing leadership, guidance and support to ensure high levels of staff performance and customer satisfaction
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues quickly and effectively
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and legal regulations
* Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices to continuously improve hotel operations
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Duty Manager or Assistant Manager role within the hospitality industry
* Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to deliver exceptional customer service
* Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with guests, staff, and other stakeholders
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, to meet the needs of the business
