Our office is currently seeking an experienced and professional Senior Bookkeeper to join our agile and diverse team.
Our Bookkeeping service provides assistance from payroll, creditors, debtors, bank reconciliations through to provision of monthly reports and completion and lodgement of BASs for a wide variety of clients, and specialises in the medical industry.
Job Description
The Role
Having previously worked in a similar role, you will be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas using Xero and MYOB :
- Setup and implementation of bookkeeping files
- Invoicing
- Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- BAS preparation
- Reconciliation of inter-entity loan accounts
- Liaising with client’s accountants to ensure processing meets their requirements
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Skills and Experience
The Person
The successful candidate must have:
- Responsibility, integrity and a professional outlook
- A team focused attitude with a confident and friendly personality
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and identify and deal with problems as they arise.
- Experience in managing a variety of tasks simultaneously despite changing priorities and requirements
- No less than 4-5 years experience providing bookkeeping services to multiple clients and across industries
