Responsibilities
- Implement field modifications according to the modification instruction (including tests, if required)
- Ensure use of valid/calibrated tools
- Populate relevant modification follow-up data base and report relevant information to Field Modification Coordinator-Leader & PI Customer Site Manager
- Ensure information flow within the field modification team (e.g. shift handover)
- Respect EHS rules (Environment Health & Safety rules) and any work-related processes. Ensure risk assessment & safe-system-of-work is available.
- Report any deviation or non-conformity associated with the field modification
- Ensure all necessary parts, tools & documents are available prior to starting the field modification
- Perform maintenance and repair activities as directed by the Maintenance Manager
Your Profile
To be eligible for the role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Trade Qualified (Mechanical)
- Basic Electrical knowledge
- Minimum IT knowledge
- Internal EHS training
- Technical operational experience (Mechanical)
- Field Experience in rail maintenance
- Teamwork capacity
- EHS knowledge and exposure
- Rail Product knowledge
- Full Australian Work Rights
