Senior Production Compounder (F&B), Australia
The Senior Production Compounder plays a key role in both Manufacturing and Warehouse operations. You will compound liquids, powders, emulsions or pre-compiled materials, follow batch instructions, operate machinery and ensure quality and production targets are met. In the warehouse, you will manage the receipt, storage and dispatch of materials to maintain inventory accuracy while operating forklifts. The role involves physical activity including comfortably lifting up to 25kg in a strong-smelling environment. This role requires adhering to WHS procedures, maintaining GMP standards including safety and quality, equipment hygiene and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
The Position:
* Ensure smooth production flow by assisting staff, overseeing batch preparation and transferring finished goods to the warehouse
* Maintain cleanliness, organization and compliance with QA, GMP and HACCP standards in production areas
* Operate forklifts and handle raw materials safely, following WHS procedures and reporting hazards or incidents
* Collaborate with Lead Compounder and Site Manager on quality, scheduling, staffing and process improvement initiatives
* Facilitate shift handovers, equipment clean-downs and participate in safety walks and site audits
* Identify and recommend opportunities to streamline processes and raise maintenance or operational issues
The Ideal Candidate:
* Minimum Higher School Certificate or equivalent
* At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food, beverage, pharmaceutical or related industries
* Comfortable with safely lifting and handling items up to 25kg in a strong-smelling environment
* Strong team player with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Effective communication and proactive mindset
* Prior management experience and forklift license are an added advantage
