Be part of a major reform program improving the way contractors deliver building, construction, and maintenance services across Queensland's education infrastructure. The Contractor Management Improvement (CMI) Program is a large-scale business transformation initiative focused on improving safety, reducing risks, and driving contractor performance.
As Principal Policy Officer, you will lead analysis, policy development, and stakeholder engagement to embed better contractor management practices across a complex organisation. You'll work closely with stakeholders to develop practical policies, tools, and processes that deliver real improvements on the ground.
What you'll do:
* Analyse current practices, identify risks, and recommend improvements
* Develop policies, procedures, and operational tools
* Coordinate workshops and working groups with stakeholders
* Prepare clear reports, briefings, and implementation materials
* Monitor progress and adjust reforms as needed
About you:
You're a solutions-focused professional with strong communication and stakeholder skills, comfortable juggling multiple priorities. Experience in infrastructure delivery, procurement, contract management, or business transformation will be highly regarded.
