About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced professional in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) to provide expert clinical knowledge and interventions to support the mental health needs of children and adolescents.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level clinical expertise, developing partnerships, and working collaboratively with consumers in the development of individual care/treatment plans using a recovery framework.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and implementing effective clinical strategies to support the mental health needs of children and adolescents.
* Conducting discipline-specific forensic/clinical assessments, including standardized, reliable, and validated psychometric assessment tools, to inform opinion and recommendations.
* Building strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure optimal client outcomes.
* Providing expert guidance on clinical psychology principles and practices to support the delivery of high-quality services.
Requirements:
* A relevant degree in Psychology or equivalent qualification recognized by the Psychology Board of Australia.
* General registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and endorsement in clinical psychology.
* Approved supervisor status with the Psychology Board of Australia at all levels of supervision.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
