Based in our clean, well‑equipped workshop in Cockburn Central, this role suits a skilled Mechanical Fitter who enjoys precision work, variety and being part of a small, close‑knit team where your input genuinely matters.
Permanent full‑time role with long‑term job security
$50–$55/hr, negotiable for the right experience
Clean workshop — no FIFO, home every night
Variety of work: pump builds, overhauls & prototype assemblies
Work closely with engineering & QA, not siloed production
Supportive team culture with real respect for trades

What You'll Do
* Assemble, fit and overhaul pumps and rotating equipment
* Read and work from engineering drawings & tolerances
* Perform precision fitting, alignment and assembly
* Support prototype builds and product improvements
What You'll Bring
* Trade‑qualified Mechanical Fitter (Cert III or equivalent)
* Experience with pumps, rotating machinery, or heavy equipment
* Confident using measuring tools and interpreting drawings
* Reliable, tidy, and safety‑minded
* Bonus: exposure to QA, metrology or R&D environments
