This role provides a chance to work in a temporary part-time position supporting nursing teams and delivering care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
To be successful, you will need to focus on consumer-centred care, following Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) - Generic Level Statements Nurse Grade 1 Band 1 and Queensland Health commitments and values.
Key responsibilities include assisting with nursing and midwifery team support, undertaking delegated actions aligned with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Decision Making Framework.
You will also need to respond appropriately to sudden changes in a consumer's health status and report these to the Registered Nurse/Midwife.
This role operates in accordance with legislation when undertaking activities as delegated, providing a safe and relevant environment for individuals and groups.
