THE POSITION
- Prepare fresh, basic, nutritious meals for students
- Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients
- Monitor stock and minimize wastage
- Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
- Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation
- Responsibility for HSEQ & Food Safety documentation (must either have or be willing to undertake FSS training course)
THE PERSON
- Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
- Manage all food compliance, Flexi Schools online orders and allergen management
- Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
- Experience with cooking in bulk quantities
- Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
- Passionate about healthy and nutritious food
