**About The Role**
Auguste The Label is seeking an experienced full-time Finance Assistant to join our close-knit team at our Byron Bay HQ. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the Finance department, under direct supervision from the Head of Finance. Your position will include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll support, BAS preparation, preparation of claims and grants including EMDG. In addition, you will provide admin support to both Finance and HR to ensure our team members are supported and all statutory reporting and compliance is observed while coordinating the day to day running requirements of our HQ.
You will have at least 5 years experience in bookkeeping or accounting and an impeccable professional record. Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills are also essential.
You will have an analytical mind to problem-solve any administrative or systems issues that may arise, constantly researching and reviewing systems to ensure all processes are as current and efficient as possible.
The preferred applicant will be an excellent team player with a proactive and positive work ethic.
**About You**:
- Proven experience in a similar role - prior experience with a fashion label or manufacturing company preferred
- Accounting/bookkeeping qualifications
- Highly proficient in Xero and excel
- Experience with Cin7 and Shopify an advantage
- Impeccable written and verbal skills
- Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise
- Highly organised with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Hard working with a no task is too small attitude
- Proactive, self-confident, highly motivated team player
- Prior HR experience highly regarded but not essential
- Knowledge of Slack, Asana and G-Suite preferred
