The unit is led by the Nursing Director (Education and Research), who keeps the learning wheels turning.The team is a powerhouse of expertise, bringing together Nurse Educators, Midwifery Educators, Clinical Nurse Consultants, Clinical Placement Coordinators, Clinical Facilitators, Student Facilitators, Librarians, and the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) service—all reporting to the Nursing Director of Education and Research.Nurse Educators based in Gladstone, Emerald, Aged Care and Mental Health stay closely connected through strong professional links with the Education and Research Unit, ensuring learning is shared, consistent, and always evolving.## About the role:The Graduate Clinical Facilitator is the go-to guide for CQHHS graduate Nurses—part coach, part mentor, part cheer squad. Working across the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS), they help new grads build confidence, sharpen skills, and find their feet in real clinical settings.Through hands-on teaching, face-to-face support, and close collaboration with clinical units and teams, the Graduate Clinical Facilitator helps create a positive, curious, and supportive learning culture.
