Sophisticated Systems Expert Wanted
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Leader to spearhead the development of our simulation systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring junior developers, as well as driving the design and implementation of our simulation environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and improve our NEM/WEM and EMS Simulator systems, ensuring they meet service level agreements.
* Automate deployment and monitoring of Market and EMS applications in simulation environments using modern DevOps and scripting tools.
* Advise on simulation system design and architecture, incorporating emerging technologies such as cloud-based simulation and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
* Analyse, design, develop, and test Grid Systems software enhancements and in-house applications for simulation environments.
* Document and maintain up-to-date simulation systems integration, maintenance, and operating procedures.
* Lead, coach, and mentor team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, communicating technical results to business leaders.
* Provide 24/7 support as part of a Grid Systems on-call roster.
