Responsibilities
We are offering an attractive opportunity for a driven and capable mid-level lawyer to become an integral part of our Workplace team. This role involves drafting and examining employment agreements, workplace policies and providing advice on matters related to commencement of employment, termination, redundancy, and employment transfers. It also includes potential work on workplace investigations and litigated employment disputes. Familiarity with award applications and enterprise bargaining is essential, as well as the proficiency to calculate underpayments and offer guidance on day‐to‐day employment issues as they arise. Additionally, the role offers opportunities to work on work injury claims where employment issues intersect, including workers' compensation claims and issues arising under Work Health and Safety legislation.
Qualifications and Experience
Prior experience in employment law, particularly on the front end, coupled with a background in commercial law is required. Litigation experience is also welcomed. The successful candidate should possess a strong academic and technical background derived from practising in a similar role.

Position Details
The role is offered as a permanent full‐time position. It is a mid‐level lawyer position within the Workplace team with a pathway for advancing to a more senior position in due course.
