In your role as Podiatrist - Senior with the Cassorwary Area Community Health team, you will deliver high level Podiatric clinical services to a varied and complex rural generalist caseload across a Community and Multi-Purpose Health Service setting as an integral part of the multidisciplinary High Risk Foot service.
Cassorwary Area Community Health (CACH) provides access to time-limited healthcare services for clients living in the community with the aim to promote and support health self-management and independence, reduce the risk of hospital admission, and enhance overall quality of life. Our Community Health service includes Community Nursing, Allied Health, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers and Child Health.
About your role:
* Deliver high level Podiatry clinical services and complex case management, working in close collaboration with the CHHHS multidisciplinary High Risk Foot team, using current evidence-based knowledge in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
* Continually develop own professional knowledge, skills and abilities as they relate to the duties and responsibilities of the position, including committing to a Performance and Development Plan engaging in both formal and informal professional development activities
* Work cooperatively and effectively within the multidisciplinary team, and liaise with patients and their families, other health professionals, supervisors, students and researchers as required.
* Demonstrate high-level well-developed communication skills, effective interaction in individual and group situations and an ability to provide clinical supervision to less experienced clinicians as required.
* Demonstrate ability to provide evidence based clinical advice regarding the direction of service delivery and improvement opportunities
