Head of Campus – Ama Mary Eseli Injinoo Campus (Temporary, Term 2)
The Queensland Department of Education is looking for a skilled and experienced primary school educational leader to serve as Head of Campus at the Ama Mary Eseli Injinoo Campus (AMEI). This temporary position covers the long service leave of the substantive officer and offers the possibility of an extension beyond Term 2.
About the College
NPASC is a remote Indigenous community college serving approximately 600 students across five communities: Bamaga, Injinoo, Umagico, New Mapoon, and Seisia, as well as neighboring islands such as Saibai and Badu. The college consists of three campuses; the Ama Mary Eseli Injinoo campus provides kindy to Year 6 education.
About the Role
You will work with the College leadership under the direction of the College Principal. Your core responsibilities include leading the provision of high-quality educational opportunities to students of the campus and ensuring a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environment.
* Lead and manage the AMEI campus.
* Oversee the development and implementation of an innovative and diverse curriculum.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with the community, parents, and stakeholders.
* Mentor and support leaders, teaching and non-teaching staff.
* Contribute to the strategic planning and continuous improvement of the college.
