AJ Building and Restoration offers stability, security and has a reputation for excellence and a can-do attitude, in providing first response services for Emergency Makesafe Services, Restoration, hire and repairs. We are a 24/7 service operating across Australia with Northern Territory the only state/territory we don't currently cover. n We have recently experienced a rapid growth in all major States and are now looking to expand our trade base in the Perth and surrounding areas. We are seeking competent and reliable trades with an all-round experience and a genuine willingness to work and help expand and grow our business, Nationally. n Day to day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: n Emergency make safe services – You will provide quick response to attend to these jobs which will mainly involve damages caused by storms such as roof damage, broken windows, flooding, fire, water damage, house break and car impacts. n Hire- This will involve the transport of hire equipment (pickup and delivery) of Temporary fencing, acro props, portable toilets and other equipment as required. n Repairs – you may be required to carry out and or assist in small repairs including minor carpentry work, plastering, painting and small handyman work. n Restoration – You may be required to assist with transporting remediation, drying and purifying equipment to properties that have been flood effected, to carry out remediation services. n Ideally the successful candidate will posses the following attributes: n - Excellent work ethics - An eye for detail and ability to think on their feetn - Self-motivated and self-driven n - Work with a sense of urgency n - Be extremely safe conscious and compliant n - Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment n - Ability to take directions and execute jobs as instructed n - Possess basic trade skills and able to operate power tools and machinery competently and safely. n - Flexibility and availability to work extended hours when required and after hours including some weekend work. n - Excellent communication skills n - Moderate understanding on how to use phone apps. n AJs will supply the following: n - Excellent salary plus supa and all full time entitlementsn - Overtime and the ability to earn above basic wages n - Uniform and PPE Equipment n - Ongoing Training, mentoring and support. n - Opportunities to travel interstate, when support is required. n Qualifications and Experience : n - Recommended but not essential, qualification or experience in roofing and or carpentry.n - Recommended but not essential. Some knowledge and experience in Restoration and mould remediation.
