Woodham Petroleum Services operates a regional network of fuel depots and roadhouses across NSW and QLD, supporting local communities and the transport industry. We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable cook to join our Walgett Roadhouse team. This is a permanent opportunity offering stability, consistency, and a supportive team environment.
About the Role
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering quality meals for our customers in a fast paced roadhouse environment. You will work closely with the kitchen and front of house team to ensure food is prepared safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items in line with roadhouse standards
* Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with regulations
* Assist with menu preparation, stock rotation, and waste minimisation
* Ensure kitchen equipment and work areas are kept clean and organised
* Work collaboratively with the wider roadhouse team during busy service periods
* Follow all WHS and food safety requirements at all times
About You
* Previous experience as a Cook or in a commercial kitchen environment
* Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
* Ability to work efficiently in a high volume setting
* Reliable, punctual, and well organised
* Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
* Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including weekends if required
