Customer Service Representative – Full Time

About the Role
Reporting to the Team Leader of Operations you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our current and potential Solstice Energy Retail customers.
This opportunity is not your standard call centre role, we are very different and if successful, you will have the opportunity to join a fun, supportive and friendly team.
In your new role, you will be helping the team with providing exceptional customer service, helping develop brand awareness, facilitating new customer connections, and account establishment and maintenance.
You will have the opportunity to be cross-skilled in all operational areas across a busy energy retailer specialising in natural gas and electricity.
What You'll Do
* Be able to manage inbound and outbound calls and communications in a timely manner
* Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions, including upselling
* Work with our team on customer activation activities
* Support our contact centre in day-to-day customer service activities
About you:
* Experience in a front-line customer service role, in particular experience handling customer queries over the phone.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong and sustainable customer relationships by going the extra mile
* Experience working as part of a small, multi-skilled and collaborative team
* Well-developed time management and organisational skills
* Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
* Experience in the energy sector is a plus but certainly not essential
* Exposure to billing software (ie Gentrack) and root cause analysis is desirable, but not essential
