We remain steadfast in our commitment to promoting the economic, political, and social inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.About The RoleOur new programme, Pathways to Safety and Support provides effective intervention and support to children, young people and their families, with problematic and harmful sexual behaviours (PHSB) by linking them with targeted and coordinated supports.DutiesProvide tailored support and advocacy to children, young people, and families regarding problematic and harmful sexual behaviours (PHSB), using a strengths-based, person-centred approach.Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop, implement, and review safety and support plans that address both strengths and areas of risk.Coordinate wrap-around support by working closely with government departments, schools, health services, and community agencies to raise awareness and deliver integrated services.Build strong, culturally safe relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse clients and communities to ensure inclusive and respectful practice.Identify and respond to risks, including escalating concerns and making child protection reports where necessary using a cultural safe lens.Our BenefitsWe support people to live their best life.
