As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical systems and components within our manufacturing environment. You'll be supported by experienced mentors and gain exposure through hands-on experience and professional growth opportunities to help you grow your technical skills and set yourself up for long-term success. This role will commence in January 2026.
What You'll Do
* Provide technical support for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
* Learning the products of the business and understanding their applications
* Understanding customer value and the impact on manufacturing and supply chain
* Understanding manufacturing processes and the drivers of quality, cost, safety, reliability, speed, waste, and delay
* Apply structured problem solving to drive continuous improvement within the plant
* Apply problem solving, communication & other skills to deliver on relevant projects
* Deliver all technical tasks to comply with quality, safety and project management/engineering procedures and controls to enable completion on time and within scope
* Effectively contribute to the achievement of team and project goals
* Carry out work in a safe manner, in accordance with Safety procedures as applicable
* Actively participate in improvement projects
* Support lean manufacturing initiatives and contribute to 5S and Kaizen activities
What you'll bring
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
* Demonstrate a safety-first attitude
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Tech savvy and curious, with high learning agility and flexibility of style
* A desire to grow and develop a long standing career within the business
* Previous exposure to engineering such as Vacation or Internship experience advantageous but not essential
